Terms and Conditions of Stay

The terms and conditions listed below are duplicated in Reception and in your motel rooms' compendium.

The conditions have been determined to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests staying at Twin Pines Motel Mooloolaba.

Failure to adhere to our terms and conditions may result in reservation cancellation, payment for loss or damage of motel or any others guests property and/or eviction.

All personal information collected from you upon booking is required to meet the requirements of marketing our services to you and security of our property. Your personal information will not be available to any third party, without your prior consent, except where required by law or to enforce our collection of amounts owing by you.

Policies for Security, Fees & Charges:

Credit Card/Bond - Entry is conditional upon supply of a valid Credit Card and/or Bond Money and driver's license. These details are taken for the security of the room and for incidentals not paid for.

Payment - On arrival all outstanding monies are to be paid in full. All major credit cards are accepted ie Mastercard, Visa, Diners, Amex and cash. Amex and Diners are subject to handling fees of 3%.

Refusal of Entry/Eviction - Managers reserve the right to refuse, return guests or evict guests staying who have caused or are causing damage or disruption to the motel and its guests.

Fees & Charges - If during the course of a guest's stay, and/or any visitors of that guest or room, should any unforeseen expenses become apparent the guest's credit card will be charged an amount appropriate to the expense, at a rate determined by the management of Twin Pines Motel. In the case of a bond being held, the bond funds will be held until such time that all costs associated with the said expenses are recovered.

Fees chargeable to guest accounts may include, but are not limited to:

1. Damage due to smoking in rooms;

- all units are non-smoking, ashtrays are provided for use on patio areas only.

2. Room degradation;

- Stolen or damaged room items.

- The above will result in fees advised by management.

- Should the room be considered in state of un-saleable condition, extra daily room tariffs will be advised and charged.

3. Lost or stolen keys

- $20 replacement fee place call out fee of Lock Smith.

4. Maximum Occupancy of rooms must be adhered to.

Disruptive & Unfavourable Behaviour is not tolerated. Guest will be asked to refrain from use of bad and socially unacceptable language. Failure to adhere to this request will result in guest being asked to leave the premises. No refund is applicable under these circumstances.

All Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult for the duration of their stay. We do not accept bookings from persons deemed to be under age.

Unit Inspections: Managers reserve the right to inspect unit(s) at any time without notice.

Pets/Animals: No pets or animals are allowed in the motel.

Personal Property & Valuables:

1. No responsibility is taken to ensure the safety of guests' belongings left in unsecured rooms or motor vehicles.

2. No responsibility is taken for any property left by a guest at the premises of Twin Pines Motel Mooloolaba. All attempt will be made to return any property left in a room to the guests' at their expense being debited to credit card details held. Items left will not be held for longer than 1 month unless an arrangement to collect has been made. Please check all wardrobes and drawers before vacating the property.

Cancellation Policy

1. 3 days i.e. 72 hours (excluding peak periods) notice is required for all bookings made via the internet notice to cancel.

2. Bookings made direct with Reception require a minimum of 24hours (excluding peak period.) notice to cancel.

Peak periods include Christmas, Easter, Mooloolaba Triathalon and School holidays, during these periods, a minimum of 7 days is required. Should the required cancellation notice not be given, the first nights charge is forfeited and charge to credit card held to secure the booking.

New Years Eve Bookings:

Names of all guests staying on New Years' Eve and New Year Day is required as a security guard is on duty.

The security personnel will allow only those persons who are guests of Twin Pines Motel, as advised by the management to the Security Personnel, access to Twin Pines Motel premises.

All booking are to be secured by a valid credit card at the time of booking. Bookings are a minimum of 2 nights with the first nights charge being debited at the time the booking is made with the remainder being payable on arrival. Any bonds charged will be refunded upon inspection of guests' room on the morning of departure.
